PATENTED TECHNOLOGY

NorBelle has developed a suite of technologies, which power the Cearch tracking product. The technologies outlined below, enable Cearch to consistently guide a user to within “line of sight” of their target, even under the most challenging of circumstances.

AbsNav: This technology is designed to improve overall, absolute position accuracies for a given GPS chipset. On the most prevalent receivers used on wireless devices, AbsNav has been able to improve measurement accuracies anywhere from a factor of 2 to 10. The AbsNav improvements are most pronounced in the more challenging GPS environments of large cities.

CEARCH Accuracy Comparison

RelNav: This technology employs methods that produce, highly accurate relative measurements between two GPS-enabled devices. Where devices employ coherent tracking GPS receivers, Cearch technology can improve relative positioning performance to within 1-meter. Precise, relative measurements support the unique, Cearch Arrow feature that is highly valued in rendezvous situations, close-proximity searches and in navigating unmapped areas.

ArrowNav: This technology employs methods that provide consistent and usable bearing information to a target. ArrowNav works in conjunction with RelNav to provide the unique Cearch Arrow feature.

TriNav: This technology is currently under development, and aims at providing AbsNav accuracy improvements for land-based trilateration techniques such as   AFLT and TDOA. TriNav will enhance indoor position accuracies and is expected to be available by 1Q07.
