Cearch Tracking

Cearch supports the tracking of any Cearch-enabled GPS handset or tag by:

  • A non-GPS Cearch-enabled handset, using a map-only visual.
  • A GPS Cearch-enabled handset, using both the map and Arrow visuals.
  • A Cearch computer web interface.

The Cearch mobile-to-mobile difference:  As with other similar applications, Cearch supports the tracking of a target on a map. While this method is very useful in relaying the general location of a person or object, it is often not sufficient in providing the required guidance in an active rendezvous situation. Some examples include, being in an unknown region, not being comfortable reading maps, or being in areas where maps have no point of reference such as parks. In such situations, a map only guidance will not effectively guide the user to their target. NorBelle’s relative arrow and distance method intuitively guides a user in all rendezvous situations. The unique arrow guidance is accompanied by relative distance to target, which utilizes another set of NorBelle patented accuracy algorithms. These algorithms provide for an even more precise relative measurement, the accuracy of which will often reach as good as 1-meter.
